Don't Lose Hope. Don't Lose Focus. Keep Moving Forward

Hey Skin Family!

Can you believe we made it to October?

Take a deep breath and just say:

“Thank You, God, for allowing me to see another month!”

We have officially entered the last quarter of the year, and I want to encourage you not to lose hope and, most importantly, don’t lose focus.

Maybe this year hasn’t gone exactly the way you planned.

Maybe there are things you wish you had done differently.

Maybe there are prayers you’re still waiting to see answered.

Maybe you’ve experienced disappointment, loss, frustration, or even regret.

But October is not the time to give up.

It’s time to refocus.

Philippians 3:13–14 reminds us to forget what is behind us and press toward what is ahead.

That doesn’t mean we pretend the past didn’t happen. It means we refuse to allow the past to keep us from walking into what God has next for us.

You are still here.
God is still with you.
Your story is still being written.
There is still purpose ahead.

So let’s make up our minds to let regret go.

Forgive where forgiveness is needed.

Pursue reconciliation where it is possible.

Pray for our families.

Protect our peace.

Guard our minds.

And keep our eyes on the prize.

A NEW SEASON OF MIND, BODY & SOUL

At Skin By Lori Lynette, I believe beauty is more than what we see in the mirror.

It’s about caring for your mind, body, and soul.

This month, I want to encourage you to slow down and ask yourself:

What do I need to release?

What do I need to forgive?

What does God want me to focus on in this final quarter?

Don’t spend the rest of 2026 rehearsing what went wrong.

Let’s start giving more attention to what is right, what is lovely, what is good, and what God is doing.

Your October reminder:

I AM NOT GOING BACK.
I AM MOVING FORWARD.
I WILL NOT LOSE HOPE.
I WILL NOT LOSE FOCUS.
GOD IS NOT FINISHED WITH ME YET.

I want us to stay connected beyond this newsletter!

I’ll be spending more time on my YouTube channel sharing morning devotional talks, prayers, Bible reading, encouragement, and conversations about faith, beauty, and becoming the woman God has called us to be.

FROM MY HEART TO YOURS

As your Skin Family, I want you to remember this:

Don’t count yourself out because the year didn’t go according to your plan.

God can do a lot with a few months.

There is still time to pray.

Still time to heal.

Still time to forgive.

Still time to start.

Still time to finish.

Still time to believe again.

Still time to become.

Keep going, beautiful.

Take care of your skin.

Take care of your body.

Take care of your heart.

Nurture your soul.

And whatever you do…

DON’T LOSE HOPE.

DON’T LOSE FOCUS.KEEP YOUR MIND ON THE PRIZE.
